Systems Engineer/Senior System Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure.  You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, upgrading systems and storage
• Managing, monitoring of systems infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

• Provide post-sales project implementation and project management support

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

• Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution
• Responsible in providing customer with timely, professional, efficient and effective technical expertise

Requirements

• BS/MS degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting systems.
• Solid Cloud experience, preferably in Microsoft Azure
• Solid SAN (Storage Area Network) experience (e.g. Nimble Storage, Microsoft StorSimple, Pure Storage, etc)
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., Hyper V, VMware, Virtual Box)
• Experience with monitoring systems
• Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)

Related certificate preferred

• MCSE , MCITP
• Network certificates (CCNA, CCNP, etc)
• Cloud certificates

Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, support and run our projects.  You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet project requirements and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, Wireless)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements

• Proven hands-on network engineering experience
• CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, MPLS)
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
• University degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related subject and discipline

Linux Engineer

• Project implementation and configuration of Microsoft public and private cloud technologies

• Perform maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations

• Handle day to day problems and service requests related to OS, server and virtualisation infrastructure
• Maintains and reviews system logs and reports

• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Linux servers in virtualised environments (i.e. Microsoft Azure, AWS, OpenStack, etc)
• Familiar with Linux scripting languages
• Familiar with networking concepts (i.e. firewall, VPN, etc)

• University degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related subject and discipline
• Understanding the OS including but not limited to (Red Hat Linux, Cent OS)
